Some extra photos from 2022 showing some of the additions to the setup, including the provision of a water supply to an outside tap as well as to the sink inside the shed, and the re-siting of the scales on the woodshed. They had to be moved to make way for the electric kiln. We also took the opportunity to clean out the space under the floor of the woodshed, which then made an excellent space for storing surplus broken Roman tiles!

We have now uncovered the IFoG Furnace, and it is gradually deteriorating following constant attack from the weather. As with the 2005-2006 furnaces, it will resist attack once the initial layers of less-fired daub have been removed.
