The upper frieze shows four bigae (two-horse chariots) racing. Above each chariot, the drivers are named:

No complete vessel of this type is known Our reproduction is reconstructed from fragments found at Villeneuve and Montans in France, and Bern and Vindonissa in Switzerland.
