Dimensions: length 12.4cm, diameter 8.9cm, height 3.4cm

We press-mould each lamp (pressing a thin layer of clay into
both halves of a two-part mould), tidy up the result and fire it

Fit a cotton wick, fill the lamp with oil - we use old vegetable oil - and light it

The fired ceramic lamp is porous, so oil will seep onto the surface it is resting on
