On those decanters with handles, the lower handle attachment often has a visible shear mark ending with a pointed projection. This is normal for 18th century handles, and we smooth the shear mark and projection so that it is safe when handled.

This decanter is based on the Onion-shaped green glass bottle. The stopper has two rows of trapped air bubbles and is ground in by hand. It is not airtight and will have some wobble where it sits in the neck. It was made for Outlander Season 2, and has appeared in subsequent seasons.
